Influencer Guru joins SBH Scotland as Ambassador
SBH Scotland are delighted to announce Scottish communications expert, social media trailblazer, host and presenter Adam Stewart as our new Ambassador.
Adam (24) from Cumbernauld, was introduced to the charity at the end of 2023 and couldn’t wait to look at ways he could utilise his many skills to support all the families helped by SBH Scotland.
With an illustrious career in the world of entertainment and media where he honed his craft as a celebrity PR guru, social media whizz and presenter extraordinaire, he will be joining other high profile names such as Gordon Ramsay OBE and close friend, Scottish actor Reece Donnelly, in supporting the charity.
SBH Scotland provide a lifetime commitment of support, care, and vital information to children and families affected by spina bifida and hydrocephalus. Their dedicated support and clinical team work across Scotland to improve the quality of life for each baby born with the disabilities, advocating for their needs, and working tirelessly to increase public awareness.
Adam was announced as the newest Ambassador for SBH Scotland at an exclusive afternoon tea event hosted by Mar Hall Hotel Golf & Spa Resort on Sunday 3 June.
In attendance were some of Scotland’s most creative and influential influencers, and close friends of Adam, including Scotland’s Home of the Year presenter Anna Campbell-Jones, Capital FM’s Katy J, and TikToker Rachel Spicer.
Guests also had the chance to chat with members of the charity; Josh Miller, Ally Baillie, and Harry Stratton who were joined by mum Anna, who shared her experience of the reality of having a child with spina bifida and hydrocephalus and the support she’s received from SBH Scotland over the last 24 years.
Upon accepting his role as Ambassador, Adam Stewart said:
“I’m delighted to be stepping up as an Ambassador for this amazing charity. Having grown up in Cumbernauld, I’ve passed by the support centre so many times over the years and always wanted to do something to help.
“Having had the opportunity to work with the charity since the start of the year and meet some of the incredible young people they support, I’m excited to be more involved and do everything I can to raise awareness of the vital work SBH Scotland are doing across Scotland.”
Lawrence Cowan, Chief Executive of Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus Scotland, said:
“We are thrilled to welcome Adam as our newest Ambassador. With his extensive background in media and entertainment, Adam can bring a new level of visibility to the cause. We hope that Adam’s new role will inspire others to get involved.
“I’d also like to thank Mar Hall for providing the afternoon tea to announce Adam’s ambassadorship, it was a wonderful day of stories being shared, raising awareness and making new friends.”
