Patrons and Ambassadors

SBH Scotland greatly values the additional support received from individuals and businesses who use their own profiles and public personas to help raise the profile of the charity and generate fundraising income across Scotland, the UK and beyond. The individuals below support our vision, mission and values and we very grateful for their continued support.

Gordon and Tana Ramsay meet members of SBH Scotland

Honorary Patron - Gordon Ramsay OBE

Multi Michelin and BAFTA award winning international chef, Gordon Ramsay agreed to be our first ever Honorary Patron in 2003. Over the years he has frequently taken time from his busy global schedule to launch Appeals, visit the families and fundraise.

In 2005 Gordon launched our Buy a Brick Appeal which helped raise over £850,000 to create our purpose built Family Support Centre. Since that time Gordon has launched the F Word Appeal "What's your favourite F Word- Gordon's is Fundraising" and has hosted many Gala Dinners to raise vital funds and the profile of the charity.

Gordon's continued commitment is incredibly important to SBH Scotland and we are very grateful.

The Honorary Patron is supported in his role by Patrons & Ambassadors.

Meggan Dawson Farrell

Ambassador - Meggan Dawson-Farrell

Meggan Dawson-Farrell is a true inspiration. Born with spina bifida and hydrocephalus, she has never let her disabilities or health challenges hold her back.

Meggan was a track athlete, chosen for Team Scotland in the Commonwealth Games 2014 and in 2022 she jetted off to Beijing for the 2022 Paralympics as part of the Paralympics GB Wheelchair Curling Squad!

She even inspired one of SBH Scotland's children's books, 'Meggan's Sporty Story'.

We are delighted Meggan is an Ambassador for the charity and are thrilled to be working with her.
