The Cumbernauld Farmers Market is an exciting initiative from local specialist charity Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus (SBH) Scotland with support from Tesco Craigmarloch and their Community Champion, Doreen Reid. It aims to engage with the community and encourage residents to shop locally. With only a few months until Christmas – it also gives the perfect excuse to start your festive shopping!

Visitors can look forward to exploring a diverse range of stalls featuring a variety of high-quality products and delicious treats. The list of stallholders so far includes: The Drinks Co, Orla's Bakery, Necropolis Spirits, Cruice Juice, IRN BRU, Cakes by R H, Cannoli Get Better, Jam and Sprinkles, Bonbox, The Pie Man, Arbroath Fisheries, The Champer Camper, Elegant Balloons & Events, Moran’s Ices, Re-Wax and more…

Adeeba Ahmad, Fundraiser for SBH Scotland says, “Whether you're in the mood for delectable baked goods, artisanal drinks, fresh produce, or unique handcrafted items, the Cumbernauld Farmers Market will have something for everyone. It's a perfect opportunity to support local businesses and enjoy a fun-filled day with family and friends. And we’re so grateful to Doreen at Tesco Craigmarloch for being a massive support to the venture and allowing us the use of their rear car park for the event – true community spirit.

She continues, “This event is not only about fostering a sense of community but also about making a difference. The event is free to all, however any donations on the day will go towards Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus Scotland, and allow us to continue to improving the lives of individuals affected by these complex disabilities here and across Scotland.”

So mark your calendars and join SBH Scotland for a day of shopping at the Cumbernauld Farmers Market on Saturday, September 16th.
