Raffle Terms and Conditions
Draw date is Wednesday 1st May at 2pm, at the Dan Young Building, 6 Craighalbert Way Cumbernauld, G68 0LS, the raffle will be drawn with two witnesses. Raffle tickets will be drawn randomly.
The Promotor is Deborah Roe, Director of Fundraising, SBH Scotland and the responsible person is Lesley Giudici, Fundraising Assistant, SBH Scotland, Scottish Charity No: SC013328, Dan Young Building, 6 Craighalbert Way, Cumbernauld, G68 0LS, 03455 211 600.
The raffle is registered with North Lanarkshire Council.
The raffle is open to all residents in the UK, however, it is illegal for tickets to be sold to anyone under the age of 18 years, any player found to be under the age of 18 years will automatically forfeit the prize.
Tickets are £1 each or £5/book. Tickets can be bought online at https://www.sbhscotland.org.uk/raffle-top/, in person or over the telephone by phoning Lynsey Hamilton on 03455 211 600.
Tickets can be paid for by cash, cheque, or debit card. Credit card, CAF or other charity vouchers cannot be accepted as payment for raffle tickets.
Participation in this raffle can be made by returning ticket stubs. Raffle tickets will be entered into the draw only when the whole payment is received. For purchases made online numbers will be assigned to the buyer and emailed to the purchaser, these numbers will then be entered into the draw.
Prizes will be allocated in order of the tickets being drawn from the 1st prize down to the last one. The result of the raffle draw is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
Cash prizes will be transferred directly into the winners’ bank accounts or paid by cheque (at the Promoter’s discretion) within 28 days of the draw.
Winners will be notified by phone in the first instance and the results will be published on our web site https://www.sbhscotland.org.uk/raffle-top/ . Where SBH Scotland is unable to contact a prize-winner so that a prize remains unclaimed for one month following SBH Scotland's first attempt to notify the prize-winner, SBH Scotland may apply the prize as it sees fit, including re-offering the prize in future raffles.
SBH Scotland accepts no responsibility for raffle tickets which are lost, damaged, illegible or from which the prize-winner cannot be identified, or for any technical failure or event which may cause the competition to be disrupted or corrupted.
Members of the SBH Scotland Fundraising Department cannot participate in the raffle.
Tickets cannot be sold to or by anyone in the street.
Any tickets received after the closing date of Tuesday 30th April 2024 will be treated as a donation.
The Promoter will use your personal information for the purpose of administering the Raffle and as described in SBH Scotland’s Privacy statement at https://www.sbhscotland.org.uk/privacy/ .
All winners are required to co-operate with SBH Scotland's right to publish their win as and where deemed appropriate and to provide proof of age when requested.
Please keep the ticket or allocated number as proof of purchase.
Profits from the raffle will support the work of SBH Scotland.
Prizes are as advertised on the raffle ticket, there are no substitute prizes available.
