SBH Scotland host first Bollywood Fundraiser in Glasgow
Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus Scotland (SBH Scotland), treated 150 guests to their very first Bollywood Bash event at The Corinthian in Glasgow, on Friday 17 November, raising £7,000.
The event united the vibrancy of Bollywood with a twist on the traditional Christmas Night Out as well as fundraising for a worthy cause. Guests were treated to a delicious three course traditional Indian meal while henna artists were on hand to immerse guests into the rich cultural heritage of India.
Bollyfeat, an exceptional Bollywood dance troupe opened the occasion, while the DJ kept glammed-up guests on the dance floor all night playing the best of Bollywood and Bhangra tunes.
All proceeds from the event will go directly towards providing personalised support to thousands of children, young people and adults across Scotland affected by the rare, complex conditions of spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus.
Glasgow’s very own radio star Shandy Kambo was on hand to host the event. Shandy said:

Free Places for Christmas Cracker Santa Run
SBH Scotland are this year's nominated charity for North Lanarkshire Leisure's Christmas Cracker event on Sunday 4th December at Broadwood Stadium.
As nominated charity SBH Scotland have free places for any people wishing to make either a small donation (of any amount) or take part as a sponsored event.
Run, walk or jog but we'll all be dressing like Santa and jingling all the way for a fun 5k. Take part with friends or family or make new friends en route!
There's also a Toddler Dash for the children so activity for all the family.
To get your free place for the event call us on 03455 211 600 for your code and then enter online. Alternatively email us your details and we'll get back to you.
We only have a limited number of free places and they're available on a first come first served basis, so ho ho hurry!
